Melanie de Jesus dos Santos – Rising Star of French Gymnastics

French luxury goods company Dior announced Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos as their new brand ambassador ahead of Olympics 2024 in Paris. Dior is owned by LVMH (Mo?t Hennessy Louis Vuitton), the group who manages the biggest luxury clothing and accessories brands in the world. Dior released a statement on social media, tagging Melanie to announce their association.

Dior co-shared the post on Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos’ Instagram handle. The post read, “As part of the partnership between @Paris2024 and @LVMH, Dior is pleased to announce French gymnast @Melanie_DJDS972 as its new ambassador for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games, reflecting the House’s unwavering commitment to supporting and encouraging the dreams and talents of the younger generation.”

The brand also mentioned the attributes of the Dior outfit and accessories carried by Melanie in the picture shared alongside the post. The company said, “Here, the athlete wears a #DiorOblique hooded anorak, with a matching #DiorBookTote and Diorebel boots designed by @MariaGraziaChiuri.”?The luxury products’ giant further said on Twitter, Dior is proud to support French gymnast M?lanie de Jesus dos Santos, as part of the?@Paris2024 partnership with?@LVMH”.

The Simone Biles connection

It will be interesting for gymnastics enthusiasts to know that the 2024 Paris Olympics hopeful has a Simone Biles connect. Fans may know that Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos has been training since 2022 in the USA. The French sportswoman has had the opportunity to be under the aegis of GOAT gymnast Simone Biles’ coaches. This is part of Melanie’s prep for the Olympics 2024.

Melanie trained with 1996 Olympian C?cile Canqueteau-Landi and former French national player Laurent Landi at the World Champions Centre in Texas. The coach couple has been training Simone Biles since 2017. The chances of Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos winning medals at the 2024 Paris Games increase manifold with the experienced coaches.

The young gymnast’s morale will further be boosted with the major endorsement deal with Dior. The brand’s parent company stands at $447 billion as of October 2023.
