Shilese Jones made it to the top spot at a contest once again. But she was soon pulled down from there. The World Artistic Gymnastics Championship?s Selection Camp saw Simone Biles rise to the top once again. This was despite committing major mistakes. Simone Biles overpowers Jones despite faulty routines

Shilese ?Shi? Jones has been working hard for a long time, and the results are also visible. Jones quickly meandered her way through countless talented gymnasts in the powerhouse nation of the USA. While several others had a hard time getting event-ready, Shi had zero difficulty in both being ready and standing out. However, the only obstacle that still remains in her path, is her frenemesis, Simone Biles. The 5x world all-around champion always outplays her in almost every category and puts her name on the top prize.

Shi had established a strong lead at the beginning of the selection camp. In fact, Biles wasn?t in her best form and suffered two falls during her uneven bars and vault routine. Despite these errors, Biles overtook Shi and gained a marginal victory in the end. Biles posted an overall score of 55.700 against Shi?s 55.300 and locked her spot on the world team. This defeat comes just after Shi?s loss to Simone at the US Championship, where she fell 3.900 points behind.
