According to Business Wire, GK Elite and Biles collaborated on the first-ever athlete-designed competitive leotards as part of the Simone Biles Legacy Collection. The collection allowed gymnasts to customize designs, matching team colors and embellishments. The aim of the Legacy Collection was to inspire present and future generations of gymnasts to create their own legacy in the sport.
With GK’s UDesign360 customizer tool, gymnasts had the opportunity to design and build their own Simone Biles competitive leotards. The gold medalist expressed her excitement about continuing the partnership with GK Elite, stating that she enjoyed collaborating with their design team. Biles, a member of Team GK since 2015, showcased her designs across three collections: Replica competitive leotards, Signature training leotards, and Legacy customizable competitive leotards.
