On Monday, Simone took to Instagram to share a glimpse into her looks for Owens’ match against the New York Giants. A mere post brought about increased speculations from the users on the platform. A furious Simone who bashed the comments later, was joined by an army rallying in defense.

Updating on her game day presence on Monday, Biles shared a series of images posing in the stands of the stadium. The gymnast adorned a body-hugging brown jumpsuit, a beanie in Owens’ name, and finished the look off with an oversized camouflage jacket. Though it was just a regular update for Simone, fans filled the comments with baseless pregnancy assumptions. “I hate that I even have to address this,” Biles wrote on her Instagram stories.
She further asked people to stop commenting about her being pregnant. “I am not,” Simone Biles concluded. A fan page that caught on the situation reshared the instance. “So sorry that ppl even start these comments @simonebiles,“ the fan page apologized for the ridicule by the community. But for some, the page acted as a hub to rally in support of the 7-time Olympic medalist and throw light on mindfulness.
The gymnast finds support in dullness
One of the fans straight up jumped in defense of Simone Biles, pointing out all the baselessness the rumors held. “Totally ridiculous that people would just assume she’s pregnant. She’s an elite athlete hoping to qualify for the 2024 Olympics. She does not look anywhere near pregnant! Even if she was, she’s a happily married woman, so that would be HER business,” the comment read. Another one of the comments sympathized with the situation a celebrity status put one in. It read, “What a shame that being in the public eye you have to put up with speculation and abuse! It’s hurtful.”
One of them very naturally stated the obvious fact, “Pregnant? She doesn’t even look it.” Finally, a comment stood in solidarity with Simone Biles, subtly encouraging her and bashing the assumptions alike. They wrote, “I am sorry people are stupid. You are beautiful.”
