Suni Lee has been one of the most famous names in gymnastics and she expressed her admiration for the legend Simone Biles. In an interview with PBS, Lee spoke about Biles being her favorite ever since Suni was a kid. She stated Biles to be one of her biggest inspirations and this is what led to the motivation of her winning the 2021 Olympic all-around gold medal.

Sharing the glimpse from the interview, the official Instagram handle of PBS penned, “@sunisalee shares her respect and admiration for gymnastics legend @simonebiles. Suni shares the behind-the-scenes story of how she ultimately earned the spot to win the 2021 Olympic all-around gold medal.

After she stepped down from her beloved arena in Tokyo in the wake of mental health challenges, Biles took to her X handle to express her gratitude towards her fandom and team. She penned, “the outpouring love & support I?ve received has made me realize I?m more than my accomplishments and gymnastics which I never truly believed before.”

However, as she withdrew from the competition, her compatriot Sunisa Lee made sure to clinch the all-around glory for Team USA. Hence, Lee clinched the All-Around gold with the score of 57.433.
