Simone Biles Believes Her Legacy “Cannot Be Matched” in Gymnastics

After her heroics at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, both on and off the mat, fans regard Simone Biles as the G.O.A.T of gymnastics. Notably, riding high on confidence, Simone recently made a few bold claims about her career.

In a recent interview, Simone revealed how she believes matching her feat at the global platform is a task tougher than it seems, for any uprising athlete.

“It’ll be a long time”- Simone Biles

While Biles might have taken a much-deserved break from sports, she remains one of the very best. However, when asked about who she thinks could follow in her footsteps, Biles had an interesting answer.

“But at the end of the day, to accomplish everything I’ve done? That talent probably cannot be matched yet. Looking at my stats, especially in gymnastics, where it’s so injury-filled — I’ve never had a huge injury stop me from a big meet,” Simone said.

“To be so healthy for so many years? That never happens. It’ll be a long time for somebody to accomplish what I’ve accomplished,” she added.

Gold Over America tour

The Gold Over America Tour has just begun this month, led by the star of the show, Simone Biles. The all-female star cast will come together to celebrate and inspire women in sports.

The star-studded lineup has the likes of Jordan Chiles, MyKayla Skinner, Grace McCallum, and many other gymnasts.

The team will be traveling across 35 cities in the US, from September through November, with the celebrity gymnasts showing off their skills in the best way possible.

Simone’s notable success has made her one of the best out there. Even though surrounded by controversy at the Tokyo Olympics, love and support came flowing in from the sporting community. While her future on the mat remains uncertain, fans wait for the return of the beast.
