Gymnastics is again in the highlights, all thanks to the recent US Gymnastics Championships. The event has once again kept all Americans glued to their screens. The scores for the Men’s division have been satisfactory. Additionally, the women’s division athletes have also stepped up their game. Without the stars like Simone Biles and Suni Lee, fans were worried about the outcome, but their worries have since been laid to rest.

A new face has risen to save the day at the US Gymnastics championships. This 21-year-old talent has taken everyone by storm, eyeing the next most remarkable event- the 2024 Olympics.

Jordan Chiles isn’t really a new name in the circuit, but, following her last performance, she has shown the world that her prime is yet to come. This 21-year-old has been competing for years, making history and breaking records. She has had a very successful run in both the USAG and the Summer Olympics 2022. On Friday, August 19th, Chiles again reminded everyone of her mettle when she posted a series of pictures on Instagram, captioned:“This granny ain’t done yet 👵🏾 -22’ championships”

Chile has had a very successful run as of late, from the top in four out of the five events at the US Gymnastics Championships to getting business deals, and she seems to be having the highest time of her career.

However, her 2020 Olympics run was quite bumpy. She fell off the beams and was out of the competition. A situation where the world saw her best friend and teammate Simone Biles standing beside her.

Chiles was clear about her future endeavors, the foremost being the 2024 Paris Olympics. No doubt, the incidents of last time still lay heavy on her mind. When discussing it, she said, “Making my return is honestly the most amazing thing. I’m here for myself. I just want to be able just to go out there and have fun,”. Safe to say, those spirits are just indomitable.

Enthusiasts of the sports are in awe of her routines and radiant persona. In the USAG, she managed to pull off her performance flawlessly, a piece choreographed to “Truth Hurts” by pop singer Lizzo.
