Sunday at Soldier Field was more than just football. Simone Biles showed up to cheer on her husband, Jonathan Owens, as his Chicago Bears faced off against the Detroit Lions. And let’s be real—Jonathan’s squad needed all the support they could get. After eight straight losses, another L would’ve been the nail in their playoff coffin. But while the game had its stakes, the real drama? Jonathan’s pre-game fit.

Picture this: JO rocking a high-neck vest on the sidelines, complete with a cap to brave the chilly weather. But no jersey in sight? A bold move, especially given the freezing Chicago temperature—on Sunday, Chicago’s temperature stooped as low as 34 degrees. Was it an attempt to emulate the Tennessee Volunteers’ trick while facing Ohio State in its college football playoff last week? But what did they do?

Just before the game against Ohio State in the CFP first-round game, several Titans players took the field shirtless. They were bare-bodied, doing the physical drills. At one point, one broadcaster, who was meticulously covered with multiple layers of clothing, said, “They are crazy.” But for those who look a bit further, the shirtless physical drills at 25 degrees were more than just that. Despite an NCAA rule change that requires players to display their jersey numbers during warmups stating, “Players without their numeral readily visible must leave the playing enclosure,” the message was loud and clear:

The cold isn’t going to deter the Titans….Was Owens trying to indicate the same?

Maybe. Maybe not. What we do know is that Simone Biles was definitely all in. On December 22, she posted an Instagram story featuring her man’s game-day look, captioning it, “OHHHH BABBYYYY.” The original post also featured a video that showed Owens walking down the field while breathing out puffs of vapor. But that’s not all…

The Olympian was also present in person at Soldier Field to cheer on her beau. Dressed in a Bears jacket and a clear purse bedazzled with Owens’ name and number in orange and blue, the gymnast cheered for Owens all along. Rapper Eminem also graced the venue with his presence. But despite the heavy star-presence, things unfortunately didn’t go as planned.

Jonathan Owens’ Chicago Bears were thumped by the Detroit Lions in the game by a scoreline of 34-17. The Lions’ quarterback Jared Goff had a field day against the Bears. He staged a 336-yard offensive performance. The Bears had a reply from quarterback Caleb Williams. But the rookie failed to generate a similar magic. He threw for 334 yards. That could have never been enough to put a stop to Detroit’s wheels. And it didn’t. Ultimately, JO’s squad had to digest its ninth straight and tenth overall loss this season. It might be the end of the road for the Bears this season. Nonetheless, the Sunday game’s loss had an eerie similarity with the football game between VoIs and Ohio State.

The fun fact is, just like the Bears, the Tennessee Volunteers had to face a thrashing defeat (42-17) from their opponents in the College Football Playoff. Does it signify something? Or any sign? Well, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens didn’t seem to be bothered by such things. Instead, the couple enjoyed their PDA just before the game.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are the all-season couple

The PDA sessions of Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are attracting attention. A few days ago, the NFL fans used the couple’s example to school Travis Hunter and his fiancée, Leanna Lenee. Per them, the Buffaloes’ star and Leanna should learn a few things from Simone and Jonathan. Did those sweet words reach Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Owens? No one may have the answer. But on Sunday, the couple threw another example.

This time, Simone Biles entered the stadium, donning a black puffer coat with a Prada bucket hat. Also, her puffer coat had a large ‘C’ printed on the back to show her support for her husband’s NFL team. And what about a PDA? On Sunday afternoon, under the cold weather in Chicago, the couple shared their kisses for each other on the sidelines. Yet again, it came before the kickoff of the football game. And the moment left the couple pleased, just like a million times in the past

However, in the end, Simone Biles’s post came, highlighting the adorable mood. The fans will wish to see more.
