Best-friend to the rescue
In an interview along with Jordan Chiles, the duo relieved the first time Jordan met Simone’s love interest. Notably, Chiles reported that Biles sought her approval in order to date famed footballer, Jonathan Owens.
While talking about her relationship with Jonathan, the fellow artistic gymnast said, “When she first brought him to the house, I was just like, yeah he’s a good one. Only because like our friendship, I just knew what she had gone through prior to him and I was just like, no he’s a good one.

“I didn’t even have to do anything. He was the nicest dude I’ve ever met. I was just like, bro he is a really cool one. Then I found out that he was a football player so I was like oh there we go, it’s even better. Look at that! I told her like three days after because I kind of wanted to give it a little time. I was like you found a good one. She was like, “Oh, thank you,” Jordon added.
Simone Biles has more to herself than gymnastics
At the recent Summer Games in Tokyo, Simone Biles shocked the world as she withdrew from most of her events, citing mental health concerns. However, her bold move made center stage headlines, with entities from the sporting world coming to her aid and appreciating her for speaking up.
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens grew closer together during the unprecedented lockdown in 2020. While she was undoubtedly disappointed with the postponement of the Olympic Games, safe to say, it turned out just right for her.
