Since then, she has been one of the primary campaigners for the brand. Not to mention, track and field legend, Allyson Felix is also in partnership with the brand.

Athleta is a woman-centric brand with its primary focus on female apparel. The company launched back in the year 2018. 8 years after its inception, the company kick-started a campaign called ‘Power of She’. Over the past few years, the company has developed into a first-of-its-kind, multi-centric women’s brand.

US track and field star, Allyson Felix, was the first athlete to sign for Athleta after her fall-out with Nike. Incidentally, Biles too worked with Nike before signing with Athleta.

In a recent Instagram post, Athleta announced that the first product line in their collaboration with Simone Biles is now live. “The wait is over: Athleta Girl x Simone Biles is here!” read the caption on the post.

The collection will feature products including tops, lowers, accessories, and outerwear. They will all have a summer/spring theme to them.

The limited-edition collection is for girls aged 6-12, and the products will feature hidden messages to boost the wearer’s self-confidence. Having been in the works for over a year, Biles is delighted to see them finally be up for sale.

Biles and Athleta’s partnership

Simone once said that she chose Athleta as she could connect with their policies and motto. She believes that the company will be able to help her bring the change she wants.

Undoubtedly, Biles is the perfect entity for Athleta’s ‘Power of She’ campaign. Prioritizing her mental health, Simone withdrew from most of the events in the Tokyo Olympics. The move received mixed reactions from fans and followers, as well as sporting greats.

When she first signed with Athleta, they revealed that Biles would have her own clothing line. Finally, after years of waiting, it is now happening.
