Keeping the same in mind, Simone is one of 17 people who would be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. President Joe Biden will bestow the highest civilian honor upon the famed gymnast in the coming week. While the announcement was special for Simone, her fiance made it even better with a heartfelt tweet.

Jonathan Owens tweeted, “Still in disbelief, I’m so proud of you baby.” The tweet may be a simple one, but the emotions behind it speak volumes. Owens has been the biggest supporter of Simone since day one and has always made her feel special. As Biles lovingly puts it, Owens is her, ‘home in a person,’ and he does a great job justifying it.

This year’s list includes 17 people from different disciplines, including actor Denzel Washington. The honorees who achieve the medal “have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments in the arts and sciences, dedicated their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among us, and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities, and across the world, while blazing trails for generations to come.”

When Biles showed support for Owens

Being the ever-supportive couple they are, Biles and Owens do not miss out on even the tiniest things to show their support. Furthering the same with another example, Biles once showed her support for her fiance’s career.

The Houston Texans posted a photo on their official Instagram page, talking about an important aspect of the sport. They said it didn’t matter what round a player gets drafted, what matters is their performance. Biles shared the post on her Instagram story and left her fiance gushing. The NFL player wrote, “I know my baby always gone support me,” as he re-shared the story.
