The gymnast was returning from Washington after receiving the highest civilian honor when she faced an embarrassing situation. She even posted about the incident on her Instagram story.

Simone Biles shared an Instagram story regarding a recent mix-up

Biles recently received the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom. The list included 16 other personalities who have achieved great heights in their respective fields. Everything went smoothly during the award ceremony. However, she faced a slightly embarrassing situation when boarding the return flight.

While boarding, the flight attendant handed her a coloring book. The attendant did not recognize the celebrated athlete and mistook her for a kid. Biles has a short stature, standing at 4?8?. Therefore, it must have been a gaffe on the flight attendant’s part.

However, it must have been embarrassing for Biles as the gymnast shared the incident as a story on her Instagram account soon after boarding the flight. The caption read, ?Not the flight attendant trying to give me a coloring book when I board?.. I said ?no I?m good I?m 25.? ?
