With more than 315,000 followers, he openly shows his zest for football programs in school, and some college football programs have demonstrated their interest to already have him on their football team, but nothing has been fixed officially.

Baby Gronk gained worldwide significance after a viral TikTok video with LSU gymnastics sensation and famous social media personality, Olivia Dunne. The Instagram handle which shared the TikTok video also mentioned that Baby Gronk has committed to joining LSU. However, he has once again managed to make it to the headlines after flipping his commitment to joining LSU. 

Why Baby Gronk will not be joining the LSU star?

A few days after the TikTok video featuring Olivia and Baby Gronk was shared, Gronk officially announced on his Instagram about joining LSU. But he made intriguing news when he turned his commitment to join LSU.

According to Marca Sports, the 10-year-old football player had already had some discussions with other Division I schools. He met the schools before committing to LSU.

However, the vital issue for not joining LSU was, one has to be a high school student to join such college programs. The young football prodigy has made trips across the country, visiting some college football schools to join college football programs.

The reports say schools can give him some scholarship offers at a young age and not beyond that. Hence, Baby Gronk has to wait at least seven years to join the LSU Tigers officially. His father is rather focusing on gaining substantial internet followers to develop a sustainable future.

Baby Gronk’s father endeavoring to develop his online fame

Baby Gronk’s father, Jake San Miguel, was recently interviewed by The Atlantic. In the interview, Jake stated that he does not want his son to completely rely on his sports career. He rather wants to ensure a sustainable future with a robust online presence for his son.

“I’ve had a plan for my son since before he was born,” Jake told The Athletics in an interview. He later added, “It’s playing out now.” In fact, Baby Gronk’s father sees Olivia Dunne as the perfect example for securing her future with online fame.
