Any athlete may undergo drastic thoughts in the presence of pressure to give their best. However, the upcoming Olympics in 2024 may significantly impact many athletes’ futures. Despite Simone not confirming her return to gymnastics, a close compatriot has announced her decision.

Athlete’s Paris Olympics announcement

This gymnast is none other than Simone‘s professional friend Jordan Chiles. The 21-year-old gymnast has announced her return to the Paris Olympics in 2024. Previously, she stated that many things needed to be accomplished.

Olympics.com reports that Jordan remarked on the Paris Olympics 2024 while discussing the 2022 World Championship. She said, “I am going to try for worlds this year. That is something that I put my eye on, and I will. I keep telling everybody I’m not done.” Jordan added, “I feel like I haven’t accomplished something. Yes, I did go to the Olympics, but for me, I feel like I’m not done with the elite world quite yet.”

She further added, “I have been playing around. I get, I don’t want to say bored, but for me, when I do new things, it makes me more hyped about stuff.” A Twitter handle named Inside Gymnastics tweeted the news of her comeback. “Jordan Chiles has confirmed she is training for Paris 2024!” they added in the caption.
