The official Twitter page of Racing Post shared the news with the caption, “Emmet Mullins has revealed that the Champion Bumper favourite Jeroboam Machin is out for the remainder of the season after picking up an injury following his victory at Leopardstown on Saturday”. Citing injury as the reason, he will not be giving it his all this season, much to everyone’s chagrin.

Trainer Emmet Mullins is renowned for his knack for taking care of talented jumpers like The Shunter and Feronily, wherein he discovers and nurtures them. Machin was part of that doyen too.
