A Kentucky Derby Champion Jockey has been facing tough challenges lately. On January 10th, a fire destroyed a residential complex called Eaton in Altadena, California, forcing over 100,000 people out of their homes, some of whom were from the Santa Anita horse racing track. The fire had already consumed more than 13,900 acres near Santa Anita Park. Thankfully, the track and the 1,800 horses there remained unharmed. Nevertheless, 7,000+ buildings were affected and destroyed in the neighboring territories. Plus, the fire was only 3% contained by then.
