While her offspring continued to grow, the 14-year-old fulfilled her dream before leaving the community saddened.

Earlier yesterday morning, an update on her loss caused the horse racing fans to learn more about her. By evening the owner shared an update on their huge loss remembering the departed soul.

Horse racing community left devastated over horse’s death

In a somber happening, Starlet’s Sister, 14, passed away at her owner’s Ecurie des Monceaux stable which is well-known for breeding Thoroughbreds. Bred by Prestonwood Farm Inc. she was the dam of Sottsass, Sistercharlie, and My Sister Nat. The mother of renowned horses like Pure Dignity and Shin Emperor passed away due to a sudden bout of folic.

The stable team shared a post on Twitter(X) with her picture yesterday, captioned, “All the team ?@EcurieMonceaux is sad to report the lost of our champion mare Starlet?s Sister this morning. She was 14. She has given us so much. We are all very sad.” The farm owner, Henri Bozo said, ?She has been such a special mare. It was a dream for us to win the Arc and she gave us that.??Bozo further added, ?She went in foal every year until this year and she produced good foals.??

Notably, seven out of her eight offspring have a successful track win record if not a staggering win prize. Noting her contribution over the year, many shared their last goodbyes to the much-loved mare.
