The Kardashian-Jenner household is perhaps the most famous family in entertainment. Everyone has heard of them, even if they have no clue what exactly is the source of their fame. Incredibly active in the media, they have plenty of interviews and content footage to go around.

In an episode of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, Kendall Jenner flexed her Olympian lineage, claiming to be incredibly athletic.

The Olympic Champion in the Jenner family tree

Kendall claimed that she is the embodiment of athleticism in the interview segment. She said, “I’m literally built as an athlete. Every blood test I have ever done has said that I am, like, over the normal limit of athleticness.”

This gained quite the lukewarm reaction from Kourtney Kardashian sitting beside her. And in all honesty, blood tests aren’t quite the right measure for athletic prowess so who can blame her. But there might be some truth to Kendall’s claim. After all, she is the offspring of Caitlyn Jenner.

Caitlyn Jenner is a retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. She had a six-year-long decathlon career and retired after winning the men’s decathlon event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. This was all before she went through her gender reassignment surgery in 2017.

In fact, Jenner was given the unofficial title of “World’s Greatest Athlete”. She was inducted into four different Hall of Fames for her achievements. These are the United States National Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1980, the Olympic Hall of Fame in 1986, the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame and the Connecticut Sports Hall of Fame in 1994, and the San Jose Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.

“When it comes to sports, I do like to win,” Kendall claimed in one episode. “My dad always just had so much faith in Kylie and I when it came to being athletic. We grew up daddy’s girls with those Olympic genes, so the Jenners, we just have it in us.”

So perhaps some of those genes of athleticism have been passed down to Kendall. In season 20 of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, we see Kendall put those genetics to use and participate in many physical activities, winning over her siblings.

Whether she has her genetics to thank for that or not, one thing’s for certain: blood tests have nothing to offer in terms of proof.
