Mikaela Shiffrin is an extremely talented alpine skier. She is one of the world’s best alpine skiers and the World Champion too. But many don’t know that this World Champion has an equally talented alpine skier for a boyfriend.

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde is a Norwegian alpine skier. His main events are Super-G and downhill. He won 2 medals at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

Recently, Kilde has crowned the Crystal Globe winner in the men’s Super G, proving his dominance once again. Mikaela took to Twitter to congratulate her boyfriend.

The Alpine Skiing World Cup season is on. The International Ski Federation World Cup season also involved the Olympics in February. Now the last part of the season is going on. Kilde has secured the first position at the Super G event. This is his main event, and he proved once again why is the new champion.

“Legend,” posted Mikaela, sharing a video of Kilde’s performance.

The Norwegian skier clocked a time of 1min 25.91sec. This was very close with the other two podium finishes. However, Kilde emerged as the winner. Kilde is one of the World’s top contenders downhill. Aleksander had a tricky start but he was quick to recover and mastered the course.

Mikaela has been dating Kilde for quite some time now. The two bond over their shared love for alpine skiing. Moreover, Kilde has been Mikaela’s pillar of strength during the Winter Olympics.

Kilde was there for her when Shiffrin lost her father, who was her hero. He helped her rediscover her love for alpine skiing and motivated her to make a comeback.

It was a very close completion between Aleksander and his rivals. After Aleksander was done with his run, he revealed that he was very nervous watching the other runs and almost had a heart attack!
“I almost had a heart attack there. It’s a good mix of a lot of emotions,”
said Kilde. Previouslu, Kilde has won the Super G crown in 2016.
