Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez has probably been the most popular name in baseball in the past 10-15 years. Even after retiring from the game, A-Rod always finds a way to make headlines. Recently, the former Yankees player revealed that before opting for baseball as a professional sport, he was a football player. A-Rod said that he could have a career in NFL too.

In the podcast, Tartick went back into A-Rod’s life when he used to play football as a quarterback, and asked what it would have been like if he would have taken the football route instead.

“But the one thing that was interesting, in my senior year, we had three quarterbacks in our division. And they both went on to have incredible NFL careers… and then I was the third so that was enough kind of I was a consolation prize that I thought I could have done okay,” said Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez.
