Once the lockout in Major League Baseball gets over, the first and foremost job for every MLB team will be to try and sign their desired free agents available in the market. Some top players like Carlos Correa, Freddie Freeman, and Clayton Kershaw, who are in their free agency, are yet to sign for any team.

And when talking about free agents, then Freddie Freeman is probably the most demanded player in MLB. However, despite helping the Braves to win the World Series title in the 2021 season, his former franchise, Atlanta Braves, are doubtful about signing him again.
But a recent report suggests that the Braves made a huge sum of profit in the last year, and still they find it difficult to offer another contract to their talisman.

Notably, the 2021 season of MLB was one of the best seasons ever for the Atlanta Braves. They went on to win the National League and the World Series title in the same year. And Freddie Freeman played an instrumental role in the Braves’ success in the last season.

However, after the last season, Freeman’s contract with the Braves expired. And instead of resigning him, the Braves are still doubtful of offering him a new contract. Recently, when the Liberty Media-owned Atlanta Braves’ profit for the 2021 season went viral on social media, it surprised many Braves fans.
