Atlanta Braves reliever Luke Jackson has damaged his UCL ahead of the regular season

UCL i.e., Ulnar Collateral Ligament, is one of the most common and complicated injuries that happen to a baseball pitcher. This is the same injury that often results in a Tommy John surgery. And with such types of injuries, a player usually misses an entire season. And the same is likely to happen with the Braves pitcher. Even if he manages to recover in a quick time, it will take him at least a year.
