Carlos Correa is now history for the Houston Astros. After playing for over five years for the Astros, Correa surprisingly switched to the Minnesota Twins. However, after his departure, the Astros’ star second baseman Jose Altuve has already found Correa’s replacement.

Notably, Carlos Correa has been the Astors’ best player in the last few years. And after losing him in this free agency, it will not be easy for any other player to fill in the big shoes of Correa. But, Jose Altuve believes that Jeremy Pena has the potential to replace Correa and shine for the Astros.
Even after the departure of their talisman, the Astros are still one of the best teams in Major League Baseball. And knowing that Correa is no more at the Astros, Pena will have the responsibility to justify his new role.

“He’s going to be a superstar,” said Jose Altuve. “I can tell by his attitude. He cares. He wants to be the best. He’s going to steal bases too. They say he’s faster than me. I don’t think so. But he’s pretty fast.”

Notably, in the last few years, the Houston Astros have emerged as one of the best sides in Major League Baseball. They have played in three World Series in the last five years and also won one in the 2017 season. And Correa was their top performer in these years.
