The MLB may be in lockout, but its athletes are far from it. With the teams unable to make any free agency signings and the players restricted from speaking to the teams or using its facilities; players seem to be keeping in touch with other sports in the meantime. With the Super Bowl around the corner, Alex Bregman seems to be getting into the football fever. Recently coming out in favor of the Chiefs, Alex Bregman seems too excited about the sports event of the year.

With the Super Bowl scheduled for Feb 13th, the NFL post-season is well and truly underway. And with the Chiefs beating the Bills to the punch in overtime yesterday, sports fans can finally have a pulse to follow. And Alex Bregman is buying the hype. In a back-and-forth match, the Chiefs had the last laugh with Mahomes rounding out a wild game that saw 19 points being scored in the final 1:54 of regulation time.

Kansas City Chiefs – Super Bowl Contenders?

The Super Bowl is clearly the sports event that kicks off most fans’ year, and Super Bowl LVI does not look like it will disappoint. With the Kansas City Chiefs putting in a performance and praise ringing in for Patrick Mahomes and his marshaling of the troops, it looks as though the Chiefs could be primed for a deep run this postseason.

Bregman, too, seemed to agree with that call.

However, sport is a fickle mistress; and fates change overnight. And while the Chiefs reinforce their bid for the title, Bregman continues to sit out the off-season waiting to see where the lockout negotiations will take him.

MLB lockout – Poised to end?

With some positive news for baseball fans, the league has entered negotiations with the players’ association and they hope for some positive news going forward from here.

Reportedly, the meeting on January 25th was fairly productive, with conversations between the two going as long as 2 hours and significant details being discussed on the table. Evidently, the disagreements range from economic arrangements for the players and will require significant discussion before being cleared up.

But progress is positive. Some have also mentioned that the calling of the meeting immediately after is also an indicator for the fans to have hopes from the current negotiations.
