Just a day after signing with the Twins, Carlos’ wife Daniell Correa has posted a farewell letter to Houston and thanked the city for being a part of their lives. Now, after Correa’s deal with the Twins, the Correa family will have to move from Houston to Minnesota.

Taking to her Instagram account, Carlos Correa’s wife posted a short video with a long caption. Daniell thanked the city and fans for their support in Houston.

She went a bit back in the time and said this city has always given her more. Be it Correa winning the World Series, or the couple becoming the parents, Houston was definitely a home for Correas.

You have watched my husband grow from a young boy to a strong leader,” captioned Daniella Correa. “You have seen our relationship grow from two love birds getting engaged after winning the World Series to becoming parents to our sweet boy. This city has been everything and more. The fans have been the absolute best and we have always felt your support.”

She expressed her love for the city and said, “Houston will always have a special place in our hearts.” Daniella also shared her excitement for living in a new city. She said that the two have heard only great things about the Minnesota Twins organization. And now they look forward to knowing the team, city, and fans.
