Freddie Freeman is now a thing of the past for the Atlanta Braves. After his long stint with the Braves, Freeman signed a long-term deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Freeman is someone who avoids controversies in his professional career. But a recent comment by his former teammate has surrounded him with a lot of questions.

Notably, right before the dawn of the 2022 season, the Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. acknowledged an internal rift between him and Freeman. But, as always, Freeman, being a gentleman of the game, denied any rift with his former teammate.
Instead, Freeman wants Acuna to play his best game this season, As he still loves his former teammate.

Freddie Freeman and Ronal Acuna Jr. have spent four years together at the Atlanta Braves. Be it on the field or off, the two always shared a good relationship with one other. However, after the departure of Freeman from the Braves recently, Acuna said that he and Freeman had lots of clashes.

On the other hand, Freeman denied any such clashes with Acuna. Speaking to MLB Network, Freeman confirmed he didn’t view Acuna’s comment as clashes or friction. And he still loves Acuna.

“Obviously, I’ve heard everything that was said. But you know, I’m gonna miss Ronald…,” Freeman said. “I love Ronald Acuna and I can’t wait for him to get healthy and get on the field. He is great for the game of baseball… I didn’t view it as any friction, clashes, or anything like that. I loved Ronald, I still love Ronald. And I’m gonna miss Ronald.”

Freddie Freeman has always been a team player. He played an instrumental role in the World Series title victory for the Atlanta Braves. And that too, in the absence of Ronald Acuna Jr, as he missed more than half of the season because of his injury.
