Notably, with the kind of players the Dodgers have on their roster, it is no surprise that they are ruling the 2022 season. However, there is also one thing that one rarely notices. Despite winning almost every single game, the Dodgers players know how to stay humble. And that is probably the major reason why they are so successful.
Denzel Washington wants the LA Dodgers players to stay focused
Recently, during the series against the Cincinnati Reds, Hollywood superstar Denzel Washington paid a visit to the Dodgers clubhouse. Knowing that 90% of the season is yet to be played, Denzel gave a Pep talk to all players. He said everyone on the street follows the Dodgers players. And he asked them to be an example to them.
“I don’t care who you are, but you can leave it here,” Denzel said. “Not just the money, the memories, the joy that you give children, the love that they have and they walk around with your jerseys on… I have been emotional. Talking about it just to be one of you guys meant everything those kids watch you.”

He also suggested the Dodgers players not take their success for granted. Denzel described how everyone follows their every single action. “They make every move you make. I want to walk like you guys, I want to eat what you ate, I want to play like you played… I just prayed that you understand the power and authority that you all have. The influence that you have and I know you do. But never take your gift for granted. They could be taken from you in a second,” Denzel added.
