One of the major reasons behind the successful run of the Dodgers is that, in every game, a different player takes the responsibility for winning the game. Sometimes it is Freeman and Clayton Kershaw, while sometimes players like Mookie Betts and Cody Bellinger have won it for the Dodgers.

On Sunday, the Dodgers were playing against the San Diego Padres. And guess what? Bellinger blasted two home runs and led the Dodgers to win the game, as well as the series against the Padres.

Cody Bellinger wins it for the Dodgers in front of his daughter

Cody Bellinger’s four-month-old daughter was in the stands when he hit two home runs against the Padres and secured the win for his team. Earlier on Dec 1, 2021, Bellinger welcomed his baby daughter Caiden Carter. Bellinger could not find the words to describe how he felt after playing in front of his baby daughter.

Talking to Kirsten Watson of Sports Net, Bellinger said her appearance made the win even more special. “Different feeling you know, a different type of feeling,” said Cody Bellinger. “Inexplicable feeling, when they sit next to the dugout. It just makes it all more special for sure.”

Notably, the Dodgers won the one-sided game by 10-2 against the Padres. The Dodgers have been exceptional this season. With just four defeats out of 15 games, the LA Dodgers have been a force to reckon with.
