Bobby Witt jr. has taken the internet by storm. Yes, the Kansas City Royals superstar has displayed a brilliant performance on the Opening Day of the 2022 MLB season. And his performance is even more significant because it was his debut in the big league.
Before making his MLB debut, Bobby Witt Jr. was probably the best prospect in the league. There is no question about it. And guess what? As expected, the superstar prospect delivered in his first big league game for the Kansas City Royals.

His exceptional debut not only helped him to make some headlines for the day, but the five-tool player also helped his team to win the opening day game against the Cleveland Guardians.

After winning the game for the Royals, Witt admitted that he was not nervous at all. Instead, it was quite awesome for him.
As per ESPN, Bobby Witt Jr. said, “I thought I’d be a lot more nervous, honestly. But beforehand, the introductions, nothing. During the game, nothing. First at-bat, nothing. So, when’s this gonna happen? It was awesome. It just felt right.”
Notably, when Witt stepped up to the plate for his MLB debut, the crowd erupted with the chant of his name “bob-by”. And the superstar infielder didn’t disappoint the Royals’ fans. He helped the Kansas City Royals win their opening day game 3-1 over the Guardians.

For those who don’t know, Bobby Witt Jr. is not the first superstar from his family. Way before his MLB debut, his father, Bobby Witt, has already played for over 16 seasons in Major League Baseball for various teams.
