Baseball is finally back! And there is nothing better than watching the LA Angels duo Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout bat together. Earlier on Saturday, Los Angeles Angels played their first spring training game ahead of the 2022 season.

The spring training game ended with a score of 12-5 in favor of the LA Angels. And none other than Ohtani and Trout were once again a treat to watch for fans.

Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout shine in the Los Angeles Angels victory in a spring training game

The Angels wonder Shohei Ohtani and star infielder Mike Trout played together almost after a year. Notably, it was Trout’s first appearance in the ballpark after May 2021. And the power duo of the Angels didn’t disappoint their fans and helped their team to win over Arizona Diamondbacks at Tempe Diablo Stadium. If the two continue to play like that, then the Angels might be a serious threat to other teams in the league.

Mike trout who played his first game since last year’s May, went 2-for-2 with two singles to left field. On the other hand, Ohtani also went 1-for-2 with a single to left in the second innings. The Japanese star played as the No. 2 hitter for the Angels, while Trout batted right behind him.

Mike Trout, who played his first after a long time, said that he feels healthy and good. “It had been a long time,” said Trout. “I felt really good. I was a little anxious before the game. But I felt really good in my two at-bats. I was seeing some pitches. It was my first live because I was just tracking the other day. Being able to be out there with the guys was fun.”

Unlike last season, Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout are ready to play this season together and dominate the opposition with their stunning hits. Just a few days more, and we’ll get to see the magical duo play together.
