With the lockout finally coming to an end, now the free agency in MLB has been activated. Because of three months of work stoppage in Major League Baseball, no team was in a position to negotiate any deal with free agents. Talking about free agents, Freddie Freeman is yet to join any team.

Notably, after the end of the lockout, the first and foremost thing for any team will be to get desired free agents. And when it comes down to Freddie Freeman, the LA Dodgers are leading the race to sign him.
But that does not mean, he will end up at the Dodgers. Because apart from the Dodgers, the New York Yankees and his former team Atlanta Braves are also in the race to get Freeman by their side.

According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Dodgers have some serious interest in Freeman, while the Braves and Yankees also have their eye on him. Morosi also said that Freeman might be the first major free agent to sign after the lockout.

Though there is no official announcement regarding the contract of Freddie Freeman, the Braves’ fans would want their star to stay at their side. Because, ever since making his MLB debut in 2010, Freddie Freeman has never played for any other team.
