The past few days have been some of the craziest days in Major League Baseball. First, after three months of work stoppage, the lockout finally ended in MLB. And with this, the free agency also opened in the league. Some of the top free agents like Carlos Correa and Freddie Freeman are once again the epicenter of the MLB market.

Talking about Carlos Correa, during the entire lockout, the rumors of Correa’s new deal were in the favor of the New York Yankees. But now it seems like the Correa’s deal is in no more control of the Yankees.
And if the Yankees do not manage to get Correa by their side, they might actually get into some serious problem.

Before the regular season starts, every MLB side is trying their best to balance their roster for the next season. So are the New York Yankees. But it seems like the Yankees will not have the players they wanted for their roster.
Every baseball fan is well aware that the Yankees are in desperate need of a good shortstop. And for this particular position, they had their eyes on free agent Carlos Correa. But as per recent trends, the Yankees are no more an option for the Puerto Rican shortstop.

According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Chicago Cubs are now the favorites to sign Correa. Notably, even before the lockout, the Cubs had engaged with Correa. But at the moment, the Yankees are nowhere near Correa’s deal.

New York Yankees are definitely not having a great time in the MLB market. Because not only Carlos Correa, Freddie Freeman, who was their other target, is close to signing with the LA Dodgers.
