The sport is nothing without the fans. And when it comes to baseball, its much lesser without its younger fans. Kids sporting Astro caps and Angel jerseys is why the players get excited about the ballpark. And it was Mike Trout’s turn to return the favour. In a recent video that he posted, Mike Trout showcased the reaction of a young fan to getting his trading card version.

The young player seems to be rolling through the motions in the initial cards on the pack. Receiving some more seemingly common cards before striking gold with Trout. The young fan wasn’t able to hold his happiness and is seen running across the room in disbelief.

Trout reposted the video of the fan to his own personal Instagram, captioning it, “Atta KID!”. Trout really seems to be making an impact at the Angels where him and Shohei Ohtani may form a tandem to propel the Angels into contention in 2022.

The young fan may not be completely out of line with his reaction though. The collectible card market has exploded recently and if he is able to hold onto it for long, the fan may just break bank.
