If reports are true, then the Toronto Blue Jays are expected to shine bright in the East division of the American League this season.

Ahead of the opening day, the chances of winning major titles are looking slim for the heavyweights of the league. And just like the 2019 and 2020 seasons, fans believe the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are not even in contention to win their division.

As per a recent poll on a leading sports website, fans have surprisingly picked Toronto Blue Jays to win the American League East in the 2022 season.

Notably, after the 2015 season, the Blue Jays have not won their division. Last year, with 91 wins and 71 losses, they finished fourth in the AL East. But as per MLB Fox, fans have now picked the Toronto Blue Jays to win the AL East 2022.

The ongoing free agency is also going to play a huge role at the end of the season. Talking about the free agency, the New York Yankees didn’t have one to remember. They lost a few of the free agents to their rival teams.

The Red Sox also are in the same bracket as the Yankees, as except for the Trevor Story deal, they failed to make any notable signings for their 2022 roster. But, coming down to the Toronto Blue Jays, one can definitely see them as one of the most dangerous sides in 2022.
