New York Yankees are arguably one of the most respected and successful sides in the history of Major League Baseball. The amount of fans and respect they have earned over the years is beyond anyone’s imagination.

However, considering their domination in MLB, the Yankees have not been the same in the past 10-15 years. The last time the Yankees won a World Series was way back in the 2009 season. And since then they have not won a single World Series title.

The crisis at the Yankees doesn’t seem to stop even now, as a former MLB star said that he wants to throw the Yankees’ general manager in a trash can.

Recently, former Yankees player and MLB legend Goose Gossage slammed the Yankees’ general manager Brian Cashman for his strategy at the club. Taking a dig at the Yankees management, Gossage said he would have thrown Cashman’s head in a trash can. As per NJ.Com, the Baseball Hall of Famer expressed that it breaks his heart to see what has happened to the game.

“I was going to pick him up one day in the clubhouse and throw him head-first in a trash can. All you would have seen is his feet,” said Goose Gossage. “And there’s nothing he could have done about it. … It breaks my heart to see what has happened to this game.”

Notably, Brian Cashman is in charge at the Bronx since 1998. And under his leadership, the New York Yankees have won four World Series titles.
