New York Yankees are inarguably the most successful team in Major League Baseball. However, despite being a top team, the Yankees management lacks to establish a good relationship with their players. And the recent incident is a classic example of their policy.

Notably, earlier on Saturday, the New York Yankees agreed to a three-player trade with the Texas Rangers. And while agreeing to this deal with the Rangers, the Yankees management didn’t even think to inform their player. This trade comes just a few days ahead of the opening day of the new season.

As per this trade deal with the Rangers, the Pinstripes have added depth in their catching for the 2022 regular season. While in exchange for their catcher, the Texas Rangers have got two pitchers for their roster for the 2022 season.

New York Yankees prospect Robert Ahlstrom shockingly finds himself traded to Texas Rangers via social media

Notably, given the heritage of the Yankees, the Bronx is a dream destination for any young baseball player. But such a case will only decrease the value and respect for the Yankees. In this three-player trade, the Yankees acquired C Jose Trevino from the Rangers, in exchange for their prospect pitchers Albert Abreu and Robert Ahlstrom.

However, when this trade took place, the Yankees prospect, Robert Ahlstrom, wasn’t even aware of the deal. And he shockingly found out himself traded to the Rangers via an Instagram fan page post.

Earlier on Saturday, after the trade, MLB analyst Ben Verlander shared a screenshot on Twitter, in which the Yankees prospect shockingly reacted to his trade to the Rangers.

Earlier in this free agency, a similar incident happened with a former Atlanta Braves star. Notably, after the departure of Freddie Freeman, the Braves acquired first baseman Matt Olson from the Oakland Athletics. And in exchange for Olson, the Braves trade their four players to the Athletics.

However, the former Braves outfielder, Christian Pache, wasn’t happy with his trade. Because no one would want to leave a World Champion side for a mid-table team.
