In the last three months in Major League Baseball, the lockout has been the only constant thing. And even now, the owners and the players’ union have not agreed on a new collective bargaining agreement. However, that didn’t stop the New York Yankees players from resuming their training.
Notably, with the lockout still in force, the regular season might not start as per schedule. And it has frustrated not only the baseball fans but also the players of MLB. However, despite being aware of the work stoppage in the league, the Yankees players are preparing hard for the next season.

Considering the current scenario in MLB, the owners might delay the regular season. And that is something which both sides would not want to happen; it will reduce the number of games of a full season. MLB has already delayed spring training by one week. And the players themselves have no idea about the start of the regular season.

The lockout has restricted all baseball activities in MLB. Once it ends, the first and foremost task for any team will be to try and sign their desired players. And when it comes to the Yankees, then they are likely to go big this season.
