While most superstars would’ve been eager to get going after the lockout lengthened off-season, Judge seemed ready to take the field again, but why should stye ever be a compromise? With the right fielder returning to the Bronx to start the season, he took it upon himself to up the style quotient.
Also, the cleats seemed to be just the luck they needed. With an intricate paint-job to go with some personalization, they certainly are ones any Yankees fan would pay to have.
The painting of the cleats
With the shoes just resembling an ordinary black and white cleat sported by most of the league, these needed something special. These needed something to showcase them being worn by a true Yankee. And that stylization is something they got in due measure.

Personalization on the shoe
With the cleats taking shape step by step, they saw several features being added on. To start off, the New York skyline is added on the sides of the shoe. Moreover, the video also sees a version of the American flag; plastered across the other side of the shoe with prominent stars and stripes. With the city motif in place, the video then moves on to Judge and some personalization.

Also featuring his uniform #99 with a prominent ‘A’ (presumably for Aaron), painted on top of the New York skyline, it’s clear who the shoes belong to. And as if to make it more obvious, a pinstriped #99 too is added to the heel.
All that’s remaining is to add Pinstripes and theme the shoe for the Bronx and make it a piece of art. The cleats are definitely some of the most impressive designs on the show, and could definitely adorn some display cabinets should it so come to it.
