Sports and culture go hand in hand. It’s not rare to see an artist’s favorite team mentioned in a song and BTS fans can keep their ears peeled for this MLB franchise. BTS is a Korean pop music band that has risen to tremendous fame in the United States and has been on the rise globally since 2018.

The Korean pop superstar, Jungkook, too has recently seen a rise in fans with his band BTS. And while a majority of fans will love him for his music, his taste in MLB teams can’t seem to be faulted either.
Jungkook – New York Yankees Fan
Fans have recently seen the K-pop star sport the New York Yankees on a range of his apparel and this could well be an indication of the team that he supports.

Boasting the Yankee logo in various pictures on his sports jackets, designer coats, and even Vans, Jungkook looks like a Yankees fan. And while the same can probably be said about his music, Jungkook would be welcomed to the Bronx. A video of him in the Yankees jacket is fast making its way around social media.

The Yankees logo is iconic for the city and so are the Yankees. Their jerseys being the familiar pinstripes have led to them even being nicknamed after the pattern.
The Yankees preparing for next season
While the Yankees have enjoyed a largely underwhelming campaign in 2021, they will look to run it back next season. Having been savvy with most of their off-season hires, there seems to be a direct and clear philosophy that the Bronx Bombers are going to take with them into the next season.
While the off-season has been largely silent, the Yankees have acted to beef up their coaching staff. Reinforcing the culture at Yankee Stadium has been key to success and they will look to capitalize on their strengths moving forward.

However, the true toss-up remains at shortstop for the Yankees. The choice at least right now looks to be between superstar Carlos Correa and Trevor Story. Both, are free agents who will probably be looking for long-term contracts. However, signing either one of them could likely affect the finances to re-sign star players like Aaron Judge.
The Yankees are definitely looking to build in the upcoming season. And whether or not they succeed in their bid, the BTS Army should definitely look at the Yankees Stadium, expecting some tunes.
