During the 2021 season, Acuna tore his ACL and missed out the entire season after that. But luck was not in the favor of the star outfielder and he spent the rest of the season on his recovery.

Their previous season star Freddie Freeman is out of contract and it is not sure where he will play the next season. However, the Braves will be happy to keep Freeman.
