Earlier before the lockout, Correa aimed to get a similar deal of Corey Seager’s $325 million with the Rangers. And even after the lockout, his negotiations with the Chicago Cubs were on track. On the other hand, the New York Yankees also had their eyes on him.

But all of a sudden the situation is way different now. A recent report says that Correa and his agent Scott Boras are looking for a 1-year deal. And with this, his former franchise, the Astros, has started the negotiation for his potential homecoming.

However, in such a tough situation, Correa has got his wife’s support. Taking to her Instagram, Daniella posted a picture of her family and wrote a heartwarming note for Correa. She captioned the photo as, “No matter where life takes us I’ll be happy as long as they’re by my side.”

Now, it all depends on Correa to choose his new home. Whether he will head back to the Astros or somewhere else, we’ll know it in a few weeks.
