The 2022 MLB season has been quite eventful until now. The fan-favorite, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has started his 2022 MLB campaign with a bang. Earlier on Wednesday, the Blue Jays’ slugger hammered three home runs in a game and registered his name in the record book.

Notably, just like his father, Vladimir Guerrero Sr., the 23-year-old is a pure hitter of the game. However, given his potential and extraordinary talent, Vlad Jr. seems like an upgraded version of his father. And his recent outing is the proof of why he’ll be a bigger star than Vlad Sr.

In 2021, Vladdy had a good season with the Blue Jays. He smashed a total of 48 home runs in the last season and was the prime candidate to win the AL MVP. And once again in the 2022 season, Vladdy has picked up his form right where he left it in the 2021 season.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Blue Jays star clubbed three home runs against the New York Yankees and registered his name in the record book. Vlad Sr., in his entire MLB career, hit 449 homers, but he never hit three homers in a single game. But what his father couldn’t do in his entire MLB career, Vladdy Jr. has already achieved this feat in his twenties.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been playing for the Toronto Blue Jays since the 2019 season. And in a very short period, he has 76 home runs on his name. Given his form and hitting capabilities, Vladdy is on his way to becoming a legend of the game.
