Dansby Swanson homers in spectacular fashion

Dansby Swanson took home plate at the bottom of the second in a spring training encounter with the Tampa Bay Rays. While the game already stood in favor of the Braves reading a 1-0 scoreline to their advantage, Swanson would undoubtedly have been trying to extend the lead, and extend it he did. With a tremendous swing on a pitch from Shane Mclanahan, Dansby absolutely deposited a pitch way past the boundary wall.

The shot rang true enough that none of the fielders on the ballpark even moved a muscle as they watched the pitch soar back over their heads and into the stands. With Swanson rounding the bases and delivering what was to be the second solo home-run of the game for the Atlanta Braves.
