Is there any better player than Shohei Ohtani in MLB? Probably not. Ever since he arrived in Major League Baseball, Ohtani has never looked back. Be it with the bat or the ball. The Japanese superstar has dominated the league in the past two years.

Notably, just like the 2021 season, Ohtani has started the 2022 MLB campaign with a bang. However, unlike the last season, Ohtani has not been that good with the bat in the first few games of the 2022 season.

And to avoid an early season slump, the Angels’ star performed an intimate action on his bat. Since then, it has been making headlines across the sporting world.

How can someone not love Shohei Ohtani?

Notably, after being so perfect with his hits, there has been a dip in Ohtani’s hitting capabilities this season. As of now, after five league games, Ohtani has started the year hitting just .143. And to avoid an early-season slump, Ohtani, hilariously performed CPR on his bat during the game against Miami Marlins.

When talking about hitting, Ohtani is definitely struggling with his bat. Notably, last year, he hit a total of 46 home runs. But when it comes down to pitching, the Angels’ slugger has improved his game.

In the first game, on opening day against the Houston Astros, Ohtani had nine strikeouts. While in the 2021 season, he struck out 156 batters. However, knowing his on-field capabilities, no one can rule Ohtani out of the game because over 150 games are still to be played.
