With both their star players, Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, practicing and working together, analysts say that this combination is deadly for the rest of the teams. But despite having a strong team, the Los Angeles Angels were defeated 5-8 by the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022.

On Monday, March 21st, 2022, the Los Angeles Angels’ Twitter account posted a TikTok video where they were asking players the question, “Which teammate would you pick first to be on your dodgeball team”? The obvious and the most popular answer was the 2021 MVP Shohei Ohtani. Some players went on to choose the 27-year-old infielder David Fletcher, while a few others elected Raisel Iglesias.

This video just goes on to support the chemistry between the teammates of the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels’ fans just hope that both Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout are 100% healthy for the entire MLB 2022 season, unlike last year. In the 2022 Spring Training, the Los Angeles Angels have played four matches so far.
