Playoff-bound!”

A-Rod is one of the sharpest sports personalities in the world. After his baseball career in MLB, he turned himself into a business tycoon. And in 2021, he and e-commerce giant Marc Lore invested in an NBA franchise, Minnesota Timberwolves.

The two purchased the NBA side for a reported $1.5 billion with a 20% stake in ownership. However, as per SI.com, later in 2022 and 2023, they will have 40% and 80% of the stake, respectively. That will also make them the controlling owner.
