Out of Gehri’s four home runs, two were grand slams. And the Bulldogs’ catcher single-handedly scored more runs than the entire Princeton squad. With two grand slams, a two-run homer, and a solo homer, Gehri scored a total of 11 runs against Princeton.

Even Yale’s head coach, John Stuper, was in awe of the performance of the Bulldogs’ catcher. According to CBS Sports, Stuper said that he had no words to describe Gehri’s hitting. Yale’s head expressed how incredibly proud he was of Gehri.
