And amidst all these rumors, the baseball pundits did not even imagine that the Houston Astros will not let go of their marquee player so easily.

Another MLB journalist, Mark Berman, also confirmed the Astros’ interest in the Correa deal. According to Berman, the Astros owner said they are in discussions with Correa. “Our team has reached out to his agent. We’re in discussions,” said the Astros owner.
