The New York Yankees finally seem to be getting back on track. Recently, they clean swept the Cleveland Guardians in a three-game series. Thanks to Gerrit Cole, who had a brilliant day from the mound and made sure that the Yankees, win the game against the Guardians.

The Yankees have probably been the most unpredictable MLB team this season. On their day, the Yankees will beat the teams like the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays. But at times, the Yankees also tend to lose against an average side like the Baltimore Orioles.

While pitching against the Guardians, Cole had nine strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. He also allowed just four hits and one walk. Fans witnessed the vintage Cole after a while. Given the season has just started, this performance was the need of the hour for Cole and the Yankees.
