With the lockout still active in Major League Baseball, it is not just harming the game of baseball but also affecting the free agents available in the league. Right now, there are top players like Carlos Correa, Freddie Freeman, Clayton Kershaw, and Seiya Suzuki who are still in their free agency.

And amid the lockout, they cannot negotiate with any team for their new deals. However, recently, the Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker opened up about the future destinations of their talisman, Freddie Freeman.

In his recent interview with The Athletic, the Braves manager expressed his opinions on the future destinations of the Braves’ first baseman, Freddie Freeman. Snitker also made it clear that he would definitely want Freeman back in the squad.

“We lost Ronald Acuña and kept going. We lost (Jorge) Soler for an extended period, but you keep playing. Do you like that? No. But you keep going. Do I want Freddie back? Absolutely. Why wouldn’t I? But it may not happen. It’s the way business is,” said Snitker to The Athletic.

The Braves manager clearly said that they cannot sign him and at the same time he also hoped to have Freeman back in the squad.

“Right now, I know we can’t sign him. I might feel (worse) if it was a normal offseason. So we’ll see. I hope we have him, but I don’t know what’s going to happen. I have no idea where guys are going to end up,” added Brian Snitker.
